Found Again
Hey guys! Hows it going? Ive been MIA for quite some time. Life has def. been a roller derby. Main reason: I've been sick. For 15weeks.
Sinus infection.
Flu.
Still have a sinus infection.
Bronchitus. Sinus infection
Bronchitus. Pneumonia.
Everything was back to back. The sinus infection lasted about 4wks before I was healed. Flonase and the Z pack worked wonders. The Z pk was suppose to clear up my bronchitus as well. Surprise! It didn't. And I didnt realise that it was suppose to. I thought the z pk was just for my sinus'. So I had Bronchitus the rest of the time. I took tons and tons of Robutussin DM Max. And most times, I would cough so hard and long, it felt like my brain was exploding. My doc told me it was because I was cutting the oxygen from my brain off at times. F.U.N.
The cherry on top was when this little girl came into my work place and threw up. She was 2yrs. This happened the sunday before this past sunday. Less than an hour later, I was throwing up uncontrollably and had to leave work early. Got home and still uncontinued to throw up constantly. Tried sleeping it off. Couldn't. My body was singing a tune I never heard before. My body was whistling off key. Out loud.
I have always counted myself to be among the lucky ones. I'm hardly ever sick. I sick about once a year with the flu or a bad cold. Never had to be hospitalised for being sick. So I thought I must be doing something right. Boy was I wrong!
Finally, about 4am, I called for the paramedics. I couldn't breath. As soon as they hooked me up to the Oxy tank, my headach left. I would still cough but the ever present headach had finally left me.
After running tests and bloodwork and hooking me up to an IV, the ER doc told me I had pneumonia and were admitting me. I was there for 3 days. And now I"m so much better! Doc is afraid I might become asthmatic after being sick for so long and having bd allergies, that he presribed me albuterol inhalors.
And now I'm afraid I'll have to back out of my fests that I signed up for. This BITES! I have nothing written. Well maybe I can write for one of them.
